Hoover High School has two competitive dance teams as part of the Hoover Buccaneer Marching Band – the Varsity Buccanettes and the Junior Varsity Buccanettes. Our dance teams perform with the Hoover Band at all home football games. They also perform at all JV/freshmen home games, pep rallies, and all freshman, JV, and varsity basketball games. The Buccanettes have competed locally and nationally with National Dance Alliance, Dance Team Union, Universal Dance Association, and American All-Star.
